Prabhupada's International Society for Krishna Consciousness.

It was Prabhupada who came singlehandedly to spread Krishna Consciousness to the Western world. He couldn't get so much as a sheet of paper from his godbrothers. Even though his guru, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta said to print whatever Srila Prabhupada wrote, they thought it better not to print the words of His Divine Grace.
When Prabhupada was successful in starting a few temples in America, a couple of his disciples left and one started acting like he was a guru, but Prabhupada rejected him and said noone should listen to him and if the devotee wanted to come back he would have to follow him, Srila Prabhupada.
When Prabhupada's visa ran out and he went back to India he told his disciples not to go to his godbrothers without his permission so that the godbrothers would not try to reinitiate them, or take the credit for making Westerners into devotees, or contaminate them by saying something differently.
So why should we act any differently today? Should I listen to a follower of a fallen ISKCON guru, just because they are enthusiastic for me to accept their guru? Should I go seek out a Gaudiya Math guru and read their books and associate with them not that Srila Prabhupada isn't here to tell us not to? Or to give us permission if we want to?
When did things become politically incorrect for us to stand for what Srila Prabhupada taught us to do, which is to take shelter of him and his movement? And why can't he be called the jagat guru, when he really is the person who spread Krishna Consciousness around the world? Instead we leave that title for the cheaters to usurp.

They say we insult their guru, those of another group, for not recognising them as equal to Srila Prabhupada. But why say it to us, and then act surprised when we don't accept it? If I really felt that someone Srila Bhaktisiddhanta said would ruin the Gaudiya Math is equal spiritually to Srila Prabhupada then I would already be following them. I don't need someone in the Math to tell me how advanced their guru is and then try to convince me with arguments I find faulty and illogical.
But how offensive is this to His Divine Grace to me? I don't equate these devotees with His Divine Grace, no way! He WARNED US TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM! Is it all of a sudden politically incorrect to do so? Or do we have to allow them to preach to us about how this godbrother was really told by Srila Prabhupada to secretly take over the movement and nobody knows it but them or how some other devotee tried to give Prabhupada's disciples new names even in his presence, right after he made the devotees and brought them to India for the first time.
Yes he tried to cooperate with them, following the order of his spiritual master, but none of them did more than what, give him a mrdunga? So now we should give him the movement to do with what he wants? This is just a fact. We shouldn't stop warning the new devotees to stay away from the Math because who goes there? In my experience it is someone who has not taken heed of the warnings.
And what do these Gaudiya Math gurus do? They use the very same words as Srila Prabhupada, Krishna Consciousness. If they want to take away devotees from Srila Prabhupada's movement they should at least use some other term than the one he used. This is offensive to me, how they take the devotees that Srila Prabhupada made, sometimes personally, and then give them siksa in a way that becomes more important than the diksa initiation they got from Srila Prabhupada and sometimes give them catchy little nicknames instead of full blown reinitiated names, but the names catch.
As a Prabhupadanuga, hearing that a diksa disciple is now accepting siksa instructions from a godbrother of his is so offensive to him because he said to avoid them. The exact phrase was "tricky godbrothers". Avoid the tricky godbrothers, the one's who steal away his disicples. Prabhupada is an uttama adhikari, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta is too. But if a neophtye devotee tricks away a disciple of an uttama adhikari for his own sense gratification then I don't know what to say. But at least somebody has to say something.
"OH!", they will say,"You will fall down like the rest of the original devotees who offended the godbrothers etc.". No, I am not offending anybody, I am mentioning noone by name. I am speaking in general. I have absolutely no desire to hear philosophy from any of Srila Prabhupada's godbrothers because he said not to. I avoid it like the plague. But that doesn't mean I am offending them. I am following the instructions of my guru. And Srila Prabhupada named specific godbrothers of his and who did what, like selling the printing presses and who was responsible for wanting one next acharya and who made the Math fall apart or whatever. I have not researched all of that. I don't need to. I just stay away from them all. But if I happen to see one I will offer my obeisances. And if they try to instruct me on how to ignore what Srila Prabhupada said and listen to them I won't. Plain and simple.
