I am finally reading a book that a devotee sent me years ago entitled "Aesthetic Vedanta" written by Swami B. V. Tripurari. I am very much enjoying the book so far although I think some of the ideas expressed might be a little over my head. The main topic of discussion is the Rasa Lila, which from my understanding is a portion of the Srimad Bhagavatam where Krishna meets Radha and other Gopis.
Could someone please confirm and or expand on this ?
Also, if you've read the book please let me know what you thought of it or what you think of the author ?

Fri, November 11, 2005 - 1:31 PMThanks again manu, I will see if she responds here. You brought up another question for me though.
what does maharaja mean ? I always thought it meant King, but I don't think that's right. -

1st one becomes a brahmacari
then a grihasta
then a vanaprastha and
